Help Murrie Pay Her Medical Bills

Donation protected

In February 2019, Murrie Coleman Bumpers had a successful kidney transplant. Though her kidney is healthy Murrie is still struggling physically and financially. She has had trouble sleeping and mobility is limited. As is typical of most successful transplants, medications have to be taken on a regular basis in order to maintain the health of the kidney. Murrie will be taking these pills the rest of her life and visiting her doctor regularly. Though Murrie has insurance the copay is high so she struggles to make the payments. Any financial assistance would be greatly appreciated.

About Murrie:

Murrie is a kind-hearted person who enjoys meeting people, getting to know them, and being a part of their lives. She is also an active member of her church. Murrie grew up in Mobile, Alabama and graduated from Cedar Grove Academy. After raising her three children with her husband, Richard Bumpers SR., she went on to earn her Associate of Science in Business Administration from Faulkner University. She moved to Virginia where she worked in security at Lockheed Martin and retired after 15 years. She now lives in Florida and likes to fish and volunteer at a local elementary school. Since starting dialysis, Murrie is unable to participate in these activities, but is hopeful that following her transplant recovery, she can return to the things that she loves.
