Help Oleksandr's family with funeral expenses & logistics

Donation protected
Hello! On June 10, 2024 the whole Ukrainian Community of Manitoba was shocked to receive news about missing Ukrainian newcomer who didn't have any family and friends in Canada!
We all know what immigration is, what accommodation & food costs are in Canada... We all know how hard it is to be here and fight for success. It's hard to imagine to be here ALL ALONE... And even harder is to die here all alone when the family can't even afford the funeral expenses or travel to Canada for the final "Good bye!" and taking the urn home...

Oleksandr arrived in Winnipeg in November 2023 and lost his life between June 3 and June 10 (the investigation is still ongoing). Oleksandr wasn't in contact with his family since June 3 and his mom from Ukraine started to search for connections in Winnipeg, asking for help to find her son. The group of volunteers and the whole Ukrainian Community of Manitoba started the search. But unfortunately Oleksandr was found dead and the confirmation was received on June 11, 2024.

Oleksandr was a great person, loving son and husband, dreamed to build a new life in Canada and bring his wife here. His mom and wife can't believe in what happened... His father is bravely defends Ukraine on the front line...

The sad reality is that his loving family can't even arrive to Canada to organize the funeral and bring the urn home. So, it is now our mission to organize his funeral, cover all the costs and organize the logistics of the urn back home, back to Ukraine.

Please donate to make the last journey of OLEKSANDR PAPUSHA possible!
Let's help his family to bring him home!
