Help Pawel rebuild his life

Hi, my name is Pawel, I’m 54 years old and I live in River Grove Illinois, just outside of Chicago. I’ve lost my job last year at the beginning of the pandemic, Benny’s Chop House was my place of work which closed in March of 2020. I’ve been unemployed since. Later on that year I started delivering food for DoorDash. It was good at times and not so good at other times. In September of 2020 I’ve lost my dog, rescued, been with me almost 13 years. I was heartbroken.

I started falling behind with my bills and my rent, right now I’m almost 4 months behind with my rent. IRS is reviewing now my 2020 tax filing which worries me a lot. Last night I was doing my last delivery when my car was stolen with me and the recipient of the delivery standing right next to it. My car has not been recovered yet, CPD is still looking for it. Today I found out that my insurance won’t cover this theft. It’s such a horrific experience that I’m still shaking from it.

I am totally devastated, I’m down to my last $100 my electric bill is due tomorrow and my phone bill is due next week.

Please help me to get back on my feet, please don’t let me be part of the statistic and become another homeless man.
