Help Renee Honor Eugene's Memory

My name is Renee Brooks and my fiancé, Eugene Escott, passed away due to long-term illnesses. Since October of last year, he endured heart failure in which his defibrillator/pacemaker continuously shocked and restarted his heart over 30 times. He also had COPD and was on and off with lung deterioration. As a result, he had great distress in breathing normally and was unable to breathe without an oxygen tank. He contracted COVID twice within a three-month period during his time of illness. When he seemed to be recovering, something else happened and he was intubated on two separate occasions. He was transported back and forth from the hospital to rehabilitation centers. It was at the rehabilitation center that he transitioned from this life, after months of fighting to live. He was tired and on June 26th, he was at rest.

We were supposed to be married last December, but because of his emergency admission to the hospital, we had to postpone. Because we didn’t marry, I don’t have the means to lay him to rest. I am hoping to have a proper yet modest funeral and I am asking for your help. I am forever grateful for whatever you are able to give.
