Help Robert Honor His Mothers Memory

Hello friends and family, I’m asking for donations to go towards funeral and travel expenses for the passing of Sally Mannan. Sally is my oldest daughter's (Abbi) grandmother, and the mother of Robert Mongiello (Abbi's dad). Sally is survived by her two sons Robert and Dylan, and her three grandchildren, Abbigail, Willow and Matteo. Simply put, Sally lived her life dedicated to her sons. As a single mother, things weren’t always easy for her, but she worked tirelessly to always be able to provide the best life she could for her sons. She was a force to be reckon with, but she also had a heart of gold. Especially when it came to her sons.

In her older age, and after she had raised her sons into adulthood, Sally sought out a more peaceful life, and moved to Jamaica. It was her life dream to retire in paradise, and she was able to do that for over a decade before her untimely passing. We came to find out that Sally was diagnosed with stomach cancer, however, she did not tell her family because she did not want them to worry for her. She was the kind of woman and mother to put others' happiness before her own, and that included not sharing her diagnosis with them. On June 25th, she suffered from a heart attack, and was placed on life support. She did not regain consciousness before she passed this morning, the 28th.

I am asking for donations to help her son, Robert, with travel arrangements to Jamaica and funeral expenses. Robert will be flying to Jamaica as soon as possible to handle the arrangements. Much like his mother, Robert is a hard working, proud man, and does not look for handouts. He also understands that times are tough for everyone financially right now, and does not want to take from anyone else's plate (so to speak). I am taking the initiative to set up this GoFundMe for him because I know he won’t do it for himself, and he is going to need all the help he can get. The donations will also go towards helping to maintain his home life while he is in Jamaica, as he will not be able to work and provide for his family during the time he will be gone.

Robert will need to leave his two daughters, Abbigail and Willow, here to go to Jamaica to handle the arrangements for an indefinite amount of time. He will be doing all of this on his own, and I would love to be able to rally some support to back him through this difficult process. No donation is too small, and we greatly appreciate your love and support in this difficult time. Thank you.
