Help Roxanne fully recover from COVID
Donation protected
My sister Roxanne was diagnosed with Covid roughly a month ago and quickly took a turn for the worst. She ultimately ended up in a medically induced coma for 12 days with Covid pneumonia and a bacterial pneumonia in her lungs. By some sort of miracle, she fought her way out of it. She had a 5% chance of survival according to her Dr.
She now finds herself in a difficult position as she attempts to recover without being able to work or pay rent. We didn’t grow up with any money to speak of and don’t have a true financial relief in the event of something like this occurring for her because it’s up to her siblings, cousins, and Aunts to band together to help her.
We all had an incredibly difficult childhood, but my sister suffered from a pretty terrible event after I moved out before my senior year. It had many negative consequences to her development as a late teen and young adult. It’s fairly incredible that she was able to overcome it and find a job. She has never been one to avoid working to provide for herself and has even helped others even when she didn’t have the money .
We’ve been in contact with the social worker assigned to my sister and are exhausting all options. If my sister doesn’t receive appropriate after care she can fall right back into a grave situation due to how Covid has ravaged her body.
This money will go directly to my sister and help her get back to living her life. She’s eager to overcome this and eager to get back to work. We all appreciate any support whether that’s a donation or share to someone who may be able to donate. Thank you!!!
