Help Sammy Smith Beat Cancer, again!

Sammy Smith is a Homesteader and Dog Trainer here in Rockbridge County. She is also the co-creator of the Rockbridge Homesteaders Co-op where she has selflessly provided support and numerous classes for her community. Sammy was diagnosed with a teratoma which is a germ cell tumor in January of this year. She had some major surgery done, and is currently undergoing several rounds of Chemotherapy. This has prevented Sammy from working, and the medical bills are piling up fast! Let's pull together as a community and provide some support she absolutely needs right now!

JANUARY 2024 EDIT:

Sammy battled ovarian cancer last year and beat it in May. Come October She knew something was seriously wrong and headed to the hospital. It turns out her body was no longer making blood due to having Early stage MDS. MDS is a rare form of bone marrow Cancer that was caused by the chemotherapy that actually saved her life from ovarian cancer last year. It's time for Sammy to fight AGAIN as this is going to be another long road ahead of her. She needs our support during this already hard time in her life. The support we show will allow her to get her necessary Chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and blood marrow transplant workout stressing about bills in the meantime.
