Help Sarah's dad pay her mom's medical bills

Hi, my name is Sarah. In February, my father and I noticed a sudden change in my mom. I had a day off work and went over to their house just to visit, and noticed that my mom was completely yellow from head to toe and practically unconscious. I urged to my dad that we needed to get her to the closest hospital right away and so we did. Come to find out, her liver had failed and her other organs were starting to do the same. She was admitted into the ICU at the Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, MO. Some days later, a bed opened up and she was admitted to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. There, she fought for her life on continuous dialysis and a ventilator. Days went on with no improvement and finally my family and I had to make the difficult decision to let her go. She passed away on March 12, 2021 at 10:55 am, after I spent her last night alive by her side, holding her hand. In the short time my mom battled to survive the hospital bills had totaled up roughly $180,000. My dad and I applied for every bit of financial aid we could, and graciously the Hannibal hospital she was in approved her and absorbed the total amount of that bill. My dad was now left with roughly $137,000 to be paid to Barnes Jewish. We had never received any correspondence from Barnes on wether or not we qualified for financial assistance since we had applied. Fast forwarding to November of 2021 my dad finally received notice that they would absorb 80% of the total bill. To sum it up, we are asking for donations to help my dad be able to pay this off so that he will not have to sell everything he and my mom worked 20+ years for, to pay for the loss of his wife, mother of his children, love of his life.
