Help Canadian Health Workers Prevent Covid-19
Wave of the Future 3D is a one-of-a-kind 3D printing cafe located on circle Drive in Saskatoon. We have a large facility with almost 50 3d-printers and an in-house designer.
As Covid-19 starts to spread into Saskatchewan, we recognize this is a scary time for everyone, and we are doing everything we can to support the hospitals and care homes who are helping to treat those with the Covid-19 virus.
Now with the attention that this campaign is receiving, we are realizing that lots of small businesses are finding it hard to open their doors, so we are offering our supplies to them as well.
Our facility is perfect for quickly producing medical equipment in times of need, so we decided that we are going to donate as many of these 3D-printed face shields as possible to Hospitals, Carehomes, or anywhere they are needed, but we need your help!
We will be working directly with the university, hospitals, and organizations to create the following:
- Large volume of face shields for healthcare workers (pictured)
- An automatic respirator prototype
- Face masks with reusable inner-shells
We are not selling any of these items or profiting whatsoever from this pandemic. We've already started production of the face shields but will quickly run out of supplies to keep going. We are looking to raise donations to help us cover some of the costs to create & send these masks to wherever they are needed, as well as R&D for new products that will help with the virus.
We are very committed to this project and we are going to keep on doing this as long as we can keep our doors open and the lights on.
Please get in contact with our shop owner Randy at [phone redacted] if you have any questions at all.
Thank you and stay safe!
