Please help with medical bills and save our home

We met, fell in love, got engaged and worked our butts off to save up enough money for a down payment on our first home.

March of 2017 we were in the closing process when his mother passed away from Kidney Disease.

Dispite the heartache we continued with the wedding that we had planned for October that year.

In March of 2018 Cory suddenly went into Diabetic Ketoacidosis or DKA (turns out his type 2 diabetes was a misdiagnosis and he is type 1). 

After being in ICU for several days we decided to also get a kidney biopsy because of his genetic history. The results showed us that he also has Chronic Kidney Disease (probably something called FSGS).

April of 2021 he collapsed in the kitchen as we were getting ready for work.

Vasovagal Syncope is what they believe happened.

He has been out of work for 7 weeks and we are trying to do as many medical appointments as he can stand during this time.

He has severe neurological hearing loss and we are also looking into being eligible for cochlear implants. His Sleep Apnea worsened and is now on a BiPAP, and he developed psoriasis during all this.

We had a 5-10 year "game plan" when we bought are home but we've been backsliding ever since March '18, due to mounting continuous medical bills.

Despite both of us always working full (and over) time at our jobs with "good" insurance.

We're using credit cards and our savings to get by right now and even if we get short term disability it won't cover our bills, past or present..

It's embarrassing and scary...if you know Cory, you know he'd never ask for help in a million years. But he deserves it, he gives and gives and gives 110% in everything he does..so please help..

Literally anything helps and we are forever grateful for your help in saving everything we've worked so hard to build.
