Help Sawyer Pay Bills While Recovering

On Sunday, March 13th 2022, my brother Sawyer Wilson was working a shift as a Bastrop County Deputy. Sawyer was not originally assigned this shift but worked it anyway. At around 10:30PM he went on a disturbance call which ended with him being in the fight of his life. Sawyer was shot in his chest and back several times, one of the bullets went through his forearm and completely shattered it. His vest saved his life but he has a very long road ahead of him with I’m sure multiple surgeries and physical therapy. We are praying he regains mobility in his arm.

Sawyer is the primary provider for his family. He is the BEST dad to his son wilder and his stepdaughter Iris. Maddie, his fiancé, is the love of his life and nothing is more important to him than his family. Sawyer and his family depend on his ability to work extra jobs and extra hours in order to live and pay bills and this tragedy has completely derailed their life.

To know sawyer is to love him. He would give the shirt off his back to a stranger and is the definition of a peace officer. He has dedicated his life to serve his community and he is one of the good guys. I am asking that if Sawyer has ever impacted your life in a positive way to please give a few bucks to this cause to help push him and his family through these next upcoming months. Sawyer will be on medical leave and won’t be able to provide as much as he is used to. I know this stresses him out and I want to help relieve this burden for them.
