Help Send Our 5th Graders On An Epic Trip!

Hi! The 5th grade team at Jouett Elementary has created this fundraiser to help offset the costs of an educational field trip for our students to visit the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland.

Due to the challenges in education with COVID-19, before this year, our current 5th grade students had not had the opportunity to attend any field trips since they were in second grade. They've missed out on several charter bus trips in 3rd and 4th grade, that in a "normal" year they would have had the chance to experience.

We would love to help make up for these losses, and end their elementary career on a high note, by taking them on an epic trip to the National Aquarium! Visiting an aquarium truly brings Science and education to life, and we would love to give our students this experience. We hope that by providing the opportunity to travel and have new experiences, we'll help enrich a life-long love of learning in our students.

The only downside for us is the high cost, including charter buses and admission into the aquarium for close to 100 students, along with funds to help offset the cost for chaperones. Our school is a Title I school, and to help make the trip possible for all of our students, we would greatly appreciate any amount you're willing to donate to help our cause!
