Help Shawn Honor Her Veteran Father Robert

Donation protected
Please help Shawn give her dad, a US Veteran, the proper burial he deserves!

Robert Lee Humble Fletcher, 79, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on May 5, 2024, in Farmington, New Mexico. Robert was born on March 17, 1945, in Great Falls, Montana, to parents Ann Parocai and Shelby Fletcher. After Ann and Shelby were divorced, Ann married Robert Humble and Bob was adopted by Robert Humble. Bob attended school in Fort Benton, MT where he graduated in 1963. He joined the Army shortly after graduation and was sent to Korea in 1964. He also spent a few weeks in Saigon before he was discharged. After his discharge, he returned to Great Falls, Montana. He worked many years for Boyd Trucking hauling produce from Mexico to Canada. He retired from truck driving and worked as a car salesman for several dealerships in Great Falls, Montana. He married Laurie and had a son, Scott Humble. After they divorced, he got married to Ramona Blackman and they had a daughter, Shawn Blackman-Humble. Bob loved the outdoors. He loved to fish and hunt in Dupuyer, Montana on the ranch where he spent most summers with his uncles and grandparents. Bob was loved by many people on the Blackfeet reservation as he spent a lot of time there. Bob was also very active with the VFW in Great Falls, Montana. His daughter Shawn moved him to her home in Farmington, New Mexico due to his failing health. She has been the angel on Earth taking care of her father for the past three years around the clock due to his declined health issues until he passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his daughter and two grandsons.

Shawn is a single mother to two boys and doesn’t have any family left because her mom passed away from cancer in 2020. She is doing her best to financially cover all the costs for his services in Montana. She paid for the cremation and requested a refund from the VA but was denied because they said that his death wasn’t service related. She has to pay for the plane tickets to fly herself, her boys, and her father’s ashes to Montana and have a proper burial done at the family cemetery in Dupuyer, Montana on July 27th. She really has exhausted all of her funds trying to pay for everything. Please help her and her boys make this trip to Montana to finally put her father to rest next to his mother and father. She is going to spread half of his ashes at the ranch that he grew up on and bury the other half. As we all know, the cost of things nowadays are not cheap. So please help this beautiful kindhearted, loving daughter bring her dad home. Anything helps and is greatly appreciated.
