Help Skye,Lindy &Nico support seniors at holidays
Donation protected
Custom created cards at the holiday time will be hand-delivered to seniors at nursing homes or assisted-living communities, and in so doing will raise money to support great organizations- all while encouraging caring young activists. Read here to find out more.
Skye, Lindy, and Nico are caring activist 11 and 12-year-olds who founded and have been running their group Earth’s Helpers. (They have made toys for animals at the shelter, donated money to the world wildlife fund, gathered supplies for marine mammals of Maine, and more.)
This holiday season, they are asking you to donate in support of their project hand-drawing or painting Holiday cards that they will personally deliver to seniors at regional nursing homes or assisted-living centers. For each donation of five dollars or greater, they will create cards to be delivered. Not only will they bring some companionship or joy to seniors getting cards at a time of year where some people can feel isolated, they will also donate the raised money directly to non-profits that help isolated or in need people at the holidays (such as homeless shelters, organizations that help low income families). It’s a win win!
These girls really want to make a positive difference in their world. They envision a fun creative activity that will raise money for great causes while bringing some light to isolated seniors at the holidays. Please help them achieve their goal of helping others through supporting this project. Thank you!
