Help Steve Continue His Fight With Cancer

Donation protected
My father, Steve “Stevie” Quaintance, was diagnosed with stage 4 CLL (Chronic lymphocytic leukemia) in August of 2012 and has since been battling this cancer on and off throughout the last 11 years.

CLL is a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow. Although it is a chronic disease, it can still require years of treatment which also comes with a lot of side effects. When he’s not in treatment and is put in “remission” he still experiences daily symptoms such as swollen lymph nodes, extreme fatigue, and persistent headaches. Steve has been through 2 rounds of intravenous chemotherapy and was on a chemotherapy pill for 5 consecutive years, which in turn caused damage to his kidneys.

On February 14th, 2023 his oncologist informed him that his cancer has returned and he is to do yet another round of chemotherapy, making this his 4th treatment. He is scheduled to receive 4 weeks of intravenous chemotherapy, 3 days a week. While he is receiving his treatment he is to be admitted to Appleton Medical Center so they can monitor his kidneys. His Oncologist is also suggesting he do a Breyanzi CAR T cell infusion, which would require him to be admitted to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee for 2-4 weeks while receiving his infusions. Although insurance has paid for some of his treatments(intravenous and prescriptions), hospital stays, CT scans, PET scans, and appointments over the last 11 years, he is still forced to pay a lot out of pocket. As you know, medical bills can add up quickly!

This is where we need you! Together we can help.

Steve is a husband, a father, a son, an uncle, a brother, a friend, and most importantly a grandfather that would love to keep making memories with his grandchildren. His dedication to his family, friends, and his customers over the years are beyond measure. He is loved and looked up to by many. He worked very hard over the years, owning and running an automotive business, and has an extreme passion for classic cars, hunting, and fishing. Let’s help him to be able to keep enjoying his passions all while still fighting this awful disease and get him back to doing the things he loves.

Any and all help is very much appreciated. Let’s give back to someone who has always given to others.

With much love and appreciation,

Natasha and family
