Help support Jaylene Stewart and the road ahead!
For those of you who haven’t heard, Jaylene was recently diagnosed with stage 3a melanoma (frig off cancer!!). Jaylene Stewart is 25 years old - she is a registered nurse in the Merritt emergency, she recently started working on the pediatrics unit in Kamloops and more importantly, she’s a really really wonderful friend. When it comes to helping others or showing up for her friends, Jaylene is always there.
This diagnosis has come as a shock to everyone, but going forward, Jaylene is positive and ready to take on the road ahead. For the next year, Jay will be travelling regularly for treatments out of town, and during this time she will be unable to keep working. As it turns out, there are all sorts of other choices and costs associated with a cancer diagnosis at a young age - these choices are overwhelming enough as it is and cost shouldn’t be a factor in making them.
I am very aware that it’s a tough time for a lot of people right now, but if you are financially able, any help is greatly appreciated.
I’ve been asked about direct e-transfer, thisis also a great option - all e-transfers can besent to: [email redacted]
On behalf of Jaylene and her family, we thank you so much for your generosity!
Here is to brighter days ahead.
