Funeral Video of John M Hojnowski
It started Wednesday night January 27th, 2021. John expressed to Margo that he wasn’t feeling well and decided to head off to bed. This didn’t seem to be out of the ordinary or unusual, just the regular ole’ life ailments. Early the next morning, around 5a.m., John woke up to get ready to go to work at his long-standing job at Caterpillar.
John did his normal morning routine, brushed his teeth, and hopped in the shower. Margo was in bed resting when suddenly she heard a loud thud. It startled her. For a split second she thought something had smacked into the house. This wouldn’t have surprised her with all the bad luck they had been having lately. Between COVID-19 challenges and unexpected expenses popping up around every corner, the past few years have taken a toll on them financially, as well as emotionally. Just weeks ago, they went without water for several weeks, leaving them emotionally depleted. Already feeling the weight and lows of difficult circumstances coming at them left and right.
She snapped from her thoughts and realized quickly that it must be John. She ran straight to the shower and proceeded to check on him. Anxiety hit full force when she found him lying motionless in the tub. She frantically tried calling to him to wake up. He was nonresponsive. She rushed to call 911 and attempted to move him awkwardly out of the small tub. John is not a small person, so this was a challenge. With the help of her son, she did her best to perform CPR, while anxiously waiting for the ambulance to arrive.
Once the medical team arrived, Margo became emotionless and completely numb. John was taken to the hospital, where at 6:02 a.m. he was pronounced dead. The medical professionals determined the cause of death to be “Aortic Stenosis.” They were unaware he had this condition. John was only 45 years of age. His unexpected passing leaves Margo and their two boys, Aidan (15) and Ethan (13) without a life partner and a father.
Margo and John have been together, nearly 18 years. He was the love of her life. John and Margo never married, leaving Margo ineligible to receive social security benefits for herself. Her sole income is insufficient to provide for her and the boys day to day needs. Margo is feeling the weight of financial responsibility to provide, resting on her shoulders.
If you would prayerfully consider helping her get back on her feet during this very difficult time, I know it would bless her and her beautiful boys. Please pray for Margo, Aidan, and Ethan that the Lord will show up in a mighty way, bring them peace that surpasses all understanding and provide for them, their every need. Thank you for your prayers and generosity in helping this family relieve the financial stresses during this time of sorrow and mourning.
