<div>Hello, my name is Tarji Kennedy. I am a single mother to two amazing boys, and I’m currently expecting my third child. On November 11th, my life changed in the most unimaginable way—my baby, Mecca, was admitted to the PICU with severe injuries, including skull and spinal fractures.

<div>This devastating situation occurred while I entrusted someone I thought had good intentions to care for my child. Since then, my days have been consumed with staying by my baby’s side in the hospital and attending court to fight for the chance to bring my children home.

<div>Unfortunately, this crisis has taken everything from me. I’ve lost my income, as I’ve had to stop working to focus on my son’s recovery and our legal battle. Now, I need to secure a new, safe place for my family to live before I can bring my children back home.
