Help the Bridges Bunch

On Monday evening, June 27th, 2022, our big brother Gardner Bridges went to be with the Lord. He was a fierce husband, son, father, brother, and uncle. He loved Jesus and his family. He is gone too soon and we know that his son Mason was waiting in heaven to hug him tight. It is hard, it's not fair, it sucks, and we will miss him, but we know God had a plan and now we all have a special angel. Our family has made a promise to take care of each other, Cissy, and all of the little ones, Bobbie, Kirbie, John, and Henry.

 

For Cissy, she lost her loving, God-fearing, handsome, creative, supportive, amazing husband, best friend, and love of her life. One moment he was here and the next he was gone. She never thought that she would be making arrangements to say goodbye, but only goodbye for now. She loved and still loves Gardner fully. He was her partner in all aspects of life and she knows that she is going to stumble through the next phase of life trying to figure out what to do without him by her side. He is the love of her life and she knows without a doubt that God chose him to be her husband. Her heart is shattered. She is getting through moment to moment right now, so she asks for patience and prayer. Bobbie, Kirbie, John, Henry, Cissy, and our entire family need to lean on each other now. Gardner showed love to everyone he met and we love him unconditionally. He will be missed every second until we meet again.

 

This site has been created to provide financial support to Cissy and the kids during this difficult time and will be used to cover funeral expenses and to fill the financial void left with the loss of Gardner's income. The saying that it takes a village has never been more true and it is our time as a loving community of family and friends to pick Cissy up, love those kids, and help them out in this time of need.
