On January 1st, 2025, we will become a fully nonprofit operated space to ensure that we can continue to provide a venue that can support Tucson arts the way we've always wanted to. Please help make this dream possible. This is our next chapter, and without the help of the community we could potentially lose a special place, so now is the time to help us. The new management has been working very hard on this over the past few months, and our non-profit 501c3 is already in place and ready to go. Since 1989 The Screening Room has been a staple in the downtown Tucson community. The theater has been home to multiple film festivals including, the Arizona International Film Festival, the Arizona Underground Film Festival, Tucson Terrorfest, and the Tucson Film Festival. We have also been a home for local music, local film makers, local comedy, and have helped create a special space supporting all things art within the Tucson community. But changes are inevitable, and we are in need of your help to continue to keep the space available for more years to come. We would like to thank not only all those that have helped build it, but all the amazing people that have created something beautiful within the walls of this venue we love.
