It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved grandfather, Francisco Javier Herrera. He was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather, Great grandfather, and friend to many.

My grandfather, Francisco Herrera, was a man of remarkable character, known for his free spirit and worry-free attitude. Even as he faced struggles with illness, he navigated life with an infectious sense of humor, never letting anything phase him. His laughter and witty remarks could light up any room, bringing joy and comfort to everyone around him.

Even though he could not walk or function as he had previously, my grandfather found ways to become satisfied. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was grateful for everything around him and used what he had to his advantage and was always a winner. My grandfathers strength and perseverance taught us all to live each day to the fullest because anything can happen, and finding things that make you happy every day is essential.

We are raising funds to cover the funeral and memorial service expenses. Any contribution, big or small, will help us honor his memory and give him the farewell he deserves.
