Memorial for Rock ~Terry Cain

To know Rock, was to love him! He was a once in a lifetime friend, father, and selfless human being. He was a Loyal friend to everyone that new him and loved by all! He finally went home to meet Jesus on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 and peacefully passed in his sleep. Terry had 3 sons: Bryan Cain, James Cain, 8 & Fierce Avery Cain, 2. Rock was an active participant and a wonderful father in both James & Fierce's life as they lived locally. Even with his eldest son, Bryan living in North Carolina, Terry remained in contact via phone and text and regularly enjoyed the rounds of joking during sports season with Bryan. I am the mother of his two youngest sons and even though I wish I didn't have to create this account for help, I know no one so selfless and derserving of a fitting goodbye. Terry's oldest son, Bryan not only had to hear the news of his father passing from hundreds of miles away over the phone but has to scramble to get out here to honor his father Right at Christmas. I would sell everything we owned if it meant we could provide a proper farewell to a man that gave all that he had for those he loved. When money was really tight, he always made sure his children had the food they loved even if it meant going without.

His Love for God & testimony of what God had done in his life was incredible. He was my best friend for over 10 years and the father of my children. With loosing him while Christmas is almost a week away, we are asking for your help to give him the respect he deserves as well as provide an opportunity for closure for his children and loved ones.

The funeral home costs are right around $2k and the additional monies will be used for his first born son to travel to California from North Carolina. This time of year is tight for Everyone, but can you imagine trying to bury a loved one while still making Christmas happen for his two young children that are grieving?

So many people loved & admired Rock. He was a friend, father, & follower of Christ that will be truly missed! Please feel free to share and help us do right by the man, the myth, and the legend we all so deeply loved!

I just want to say thank you!!! As well as bless you, for helping aid my children in honoring their father and supporting Bryan as he makes his journey to California to pay his respects to his father.
