Help us Save Maya's Leg

Maya arrived to the shelter over 2 weeks ago after being hit by a car. There are rumors that she used to have some sort of an owner, but the person is not claiming her, especially in her most hurt times - so she is better without that kind of human….

Maya has already visited 4 different veterinary centres and almost all the specialists on the coast have seen her case already - there is no easy way around it, she needs to be operated and it needs to happen NOW in order to save her leg…. Otherwise we’ll have another podenco with 3 legs that noone seems to want to adopt, like our sweet Canela =(

Maya is a supersweet and kind girl, who is looking for human closeness and even though she is afraid and in pain, she manages to relax in your arms.

The operation of her leg is a very complicated one, and as terrifying as it is, the cost is enormous for a shelter like us - 1.800€ =(

Again, the city’s hurt, abandoned and abused animals all are brought to the shelter, and then what….? The Government does not provide us with any veterinary help, any funds for veterinary costs, no clinic to go to.

They do offer an alternative….. but this kind of alternative is not an option for animals of Team Triple A. We need just a little bit of help from everyone, and all together we can help Maya.

Please help us save Maya’s leg. She will be operated tomorrow, Monday, in Anicura Bahia de Malaga.
