The funds will be wired to Waffa's Bank account in Palestine, from there hopefully she will be able use it to help her family. Here is the story in her own words
"Hello,
My name is Wafa Al-Bobo. I am 23 years old and I live in Gaza. I am married to Ali Al-Nafar. I have two children. The first is named Muhammad Al-Nafar, born on 8/8/2021. The second is named Khaled Al-Nafar, born on 7/28/2023. We were We live in Gaza, and my husband has a profession in plastering and decorating, and he is creative in his work, and our life was happy until October 7, 2023.
On October 7, we fled to my father’s house, and the bombing was very violent and close, and news came of the evacuation of the place, so we fled to our relatives’ house on October 12, and they bombed a house directly behind us. My husband and I carried our two children barefoot to save our lives. Then we were displaced to a shelter school on October 15. The beatings were very violent near us, and martyrs and body parts were scattered around us, so we fled with my children to Al-Shifa Hospital On October 16, we were sleeping in the maternity ward in the corridors, without mattresses or blankets. We were sleeping directly on the floor, and my children became ill and became ill with an intestinal flu. We were in this condition for 30 days, and the Zionists were throwing white phosphorus and tear smoke at us, and we did not see anything around us due to the intensity of the smoke, so my little child, Khaled, blew. One side of his face was frightening. The reception department was full of horrific cases, some of them injured and some of them martyred. The situation did not allow my child to be treated. A day later, the swelling disappeared, and plane bullets were entering the departments randomly. They threw leaflets at us to go to the south of the Gaza Strip through the safe passage, and because my children were so sick. My husband was afraid for us, so he sent me to the south with his relatives, and I fled with my two children I carried my children and fled from the northern Gaza Strip to the southern Gaza Strip on November 14, 2023, walking on foot, without money, with the clothes on us, and without food. I went to my relatives’ house in the south, and it was full of displaced people. The next day, my husband and his family came from the north to support me and his two children, so we were displaced on November 15 to a shelter school. We slept in a tent. Some people were kind to us and gave us blankets, but the world rained on us. My child, Khaled, became increasingly ill and became unable to breastfeed. His condition worsened the next day. My husband took him to a hospital and told him that he had swollen lungs and severe inflammation of the ear and throat due to the effects of phosphorus. He prescribed medication for him on schedule, so I took the medication on the same day in the middle of the night. At night, I checked on my son as he was not moving. I screamed loudly and the medical teams at the scene came .They inspected him and told me, “I lost my child. His body could not bear the disease, and he was martyred at the age of 4 months. My psyche was exhausted, and my eldest child began asking me about his brother. I could no longer bear it.
Days passed, and there was no source of income for us. So my husband became a cleaner. Then, violent bombing began approaching the southern Gaza Strip, Khan Yunis, on January 23.” We were surrounded by tanks inside the school, then they took us out of the school on January 25, 2024 AD. We left with the tanks in front of us and went to Rafah on foot and sat in the street not knowing where to go until we made a tent to cover us. Then they started throwing leaflets at Rafah to evacuate, so we were displaced to Mawasi Khan Yunis on May 15 2024 AD, and we are still there until now.
In the same place, in a modest tent, deprived of money .. I am asking for your help with a sum of money worth 25 thousand dollars in order for me, my child, and my husband to travel from Gaza. We are here, living dead. There is no life at all. It is destroying us and our lives have been destroyed. Help me, please.
