“Building just 1 house for a widow & orphans.”
The loss of a father doesn’t just leave a trail of grief, it leaves a household on the brink of financial collapse. Widowed mothers and orphaned children, face the hardest of circumstance trying to survive each day as it comes. Unsure of where the next load of bread will come from.
A sister in Pakistan (Sialkot), who my family know personally, is in dire need of our help. She recently lost her husband, leaving her widowed with 3 young fatherless children. She has no other family who can help her as her husband was the only bread winner. My grandma who runs a large school/orphanage in Pakistan has visited this lady personally and has explained her situation to me, tears, Wallahi tears. She lives in a room which has a small sink area/kitchen and in the same living space are some mattresses to sleep on and also a bathroom. This is all ONE ROOM.
My grandmother decided to help build a small home for her. It’s nothing big, but it’s all my grandmother can do. It will suffice for the family for the time being until her own children are old enough to start earning and support their widowed mother. We ask Allah to facilitate the affairs of those who are struggling Please help me raise some more money to support this sister build her own home to shelter her children and provide basic necessities for them. Alhamdulillah your previous donations have helped build 50% of her house but this Ramadan I'm aiming to raise the remaining funds to help complete the house. She has not asked me for more funds as she is content living in an undeveloped house under construction, but we can help change her situation in these last 10 nights of Ramadan, in which there is a night which is better than 1000 Months of worship.
This is a sadaqah jaariyah opportunity not to be missed, that will benefit you daily whilst you are alive, even after your death.
Allah said: “Surely the men who give sadaqah and the women who give sadaqah and have advanced a good loan to Allah SWT; for them, it will be a reward multiplied and noble”
