Help with funds after laparoscopic surgery

Hi everyone, my name is Heather. It’s very difficult for me to ask for help but I’m in a really tough spot. A few months ago I was diagnosed with a large endometrioma on my ovary with endometriosis growing on my bladder. I was unable to work during this time because of the constant chronic pain, and I’ve fallen behind on my rent and bills for three months. I was unable to stand or sit for long periods of time, I found a great job that I loved but unfortunately had to quit because I was in so much pain after my first few days that I had to go to the emergency room again. I was told I was high risk for ovarian torsion and to take it easy, but fortunately this ER visit connected me with a great surgeon and I was able to have both the endometrioma and endometriosis removed May 4th. I have a couple more weeks until I am able to return to work and I would really love to keep my apartment, I’ve worked really hard to get where I am in life and I know that soon it will improve significantly once I am fully healed. I’m over two years sober from alcohol and struggle with anxiety and depression which I am working on with new medication and I will also be attending an outpatient program for mental health which is extensive for a week, possibly more. I would be very grateful to be able to pay the rent I owe and get back on my feet so that I am able to live my life again. I don’t expect a lot from this but anything helps and I greatly appreciate it. Thanks for reading!
