Help with Funeral expenses for Denise (Thompson) Everett

Donation protected
It absolutely devastates me to have to share the news of my stepmom passing. On December 10th, 2024, she took her own life. Unfortunately, she had suffered for many years with her mental health. She hadn’t been in a good place for quite some time, but we honestly never expected this. I don’t think anyone does. We don’t even know where to begin. Our family is going through a very tough time right now. I didn’t even want to have to share the news, but unfortunately, we desperately need help. With the holidays just passing, our brother's birthday, and most of my brothers being laid off, one having special needs (who can’t work), and some of us only working part-time, we currently don’t even have money to begin cremation and bring her home to my brothers. We are so sorry to be asking for help, but please know we appreciate every penny. Even just a share to your profile to spread the word! We also want to thank everyone who’s taken the time out to check on the boys & I. Your kind words and memories are truly helping, even if we aren’t up to par to show it. The plan is to get her cremated, a nice obituary and a service to follow. We would really like to have her home before the new year. Again, thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. With all this being said, we want to remind people to please take your mental health very seriously. Check on your family, friends, and peers. Denise was beyond loved, and we are so lost without her.

Denise Everett was a one-of-a-kind soul.
She had a smile that would light up a whole room, her sweet laugh, and an amazing sense of humor. She could fit her way into any crowd and always make friends in them. She was a mother to 3 caring boys and a stepmom to many, including me. I can’t even begin to tell you all the great things Nece (her granddaughter's nickname for her) has done for me. She pulled me through some of the toughest times. Denise also loved her animals! Dragons, chinchillas, cats, dogs, birds, and more! You name it, and she’s fostered or raised them! She’s helped us all in so many ways. She’s been in the Rutland County community for her whole life. She was a Slater in Fair Haven! I’m sure many of you know her and can share some amazing stories. Thank you all for listening, thank you for the shares and possible donations!

Please reach out to one of my brothers or me with any questions.
