In September of 2017, Alessandra had successfully completed 26 months of chemotherapy treatments and was finally in remission from leukemia. Her fight was long and hard.
It is with the heaviest heart ever that I share that two years later, Alessandra has unfortunately relapsed. She had a bone marrow biopsy and it was confirmed that the doctors had found leukemia cells. She will be hospitalized and begin a two year battle that will be much more aggressive this round. We are hoping to find out soon that she has gone into remission again which will put her in the low risk strand and most likely mean only chemotherapy treatments for two years, with more aggressive drugs. If she doesn’t go into remission, it will be that plus more.
Her parents, Augie and Ariana, truly believe in the healing powers and positive effects of detox therapies, whole foods diets, essential oils, love, prayers, and gratitude. Your donation will help aid our beautiful Angel during her road to recovery by providing her with those detox therapies, healthy whole foods, essential oils, and much more. Although we’ll never know why Ale was chosen to go through this, we do know that God truly gives his toughest battles to his strongest warriors. Leukemia sucks.
