Helping Hand for Don Cheshire's Family

As many of you may know, we lost a beloved man on Tuesday, June 18th. On the way home from a doctor’s appointment, Martha and Don were involved in a head-on collision auto accident, resulting in the loss of Don Cheshire.

Don was a devoted husband for 48 years, and father for 40. He was the kind of man who was always happy to see your face and could light up a room with his greeting. He was always ready for a good chat, good food, and a good time. He loved his family immensely, fishing, and the Dallas Cowboys.

Before the accident, the Cheshires were severely impacted by the storms that came through. The roof is leaking, walls are down to studs from damage. Insurance covered a good amount, but not enough to repair all that was needed. As the saying goes, sometimes when it rains, it pours.

We are preparing services for Don and continued medical support for Martha as well. There was only liability coverage on the car, which was totaled in the accident.

The Cheshire family and home was a revolving door of kids, love, support, and a safe place for many throughout the years. I would like to come together and help as much as we can through this devastating time of need.
