My name is Flavio, and I am from Argentine but currently based in Spain.

We all can effortlessly reach an agreement that from the look of things today, our planet has serious, unresolved issues. It's gotten so "ordinary" that we are paralyzed by the sheer magnitude of the natural disaster stories we hear about daily and the workload we think it will take to make a difference.

But here is something to reminisce on:

What if we can, together, make conscious efforts that we'll be thankful for in the year to come? Something that we can always look back on and feel 'good' about!

Initiating the first step towards this has always been a dream. I am finally taking a leap toward this long-held dream. I’m unequivocally glad that you’re here to join me!

Let's get to the details...

From the 26th of June through the 9th of July 2023, I will be running a marathon in the European Masters Games organized in Finland.

The master's race is a race like no other as it targets mature athletes above 40; a group that would otherwise have no hook as to what it feels like to be professional athletes.

I am fortunate to be part of this prestigious multi-sports game and I hope to kill two birds with one stone:

•Establish a strong partnership with Tree-Nations; a non-profit organization that allows citizens and companies to plant trees all around the world and offset their CO2 emissions.

•But more than that, by donating to this fundraising, you will be supporting my trip to the European Masters Games next year. I need a little push to find my way around:

Here Is The plan

One tree would be planted for every single donation received. So let's say: if on average 30 people donate to this campaign (amount not withstanding), then by virtue of the agreement, 30 healthy and well-nurtured trees will be planted in any area of your choice (Asia, South America) by Tree-Nation.

Not just that, you will receive a recognized Tree Certificate that will consolidate your efforts and positive impact on climate change. You can print this certificate of recognition and place it wherever you want, in the office or at home.

What's even better? You will know the exact location of your tree and watch it grow "forever" in your name.

Why plant a Tree with Tree-Nations?

One Tree Planted is like giving an effortless way—which I call sustainability made simple—to do something that gives you a tangible result.

For instance, If you give $10 to plant a tree in Colorado, you know exactly what the donation went to.

In line with what's stated earlier, you can also choose where you want your tree planted (North America, Asia, Africa, Latin America), and you will be kept in the loop as your donation is put to work: just as mentioned earlier, you will get a "Tree Certificate", a project report and photos of the trees getting planted.

My Story!

Everyone remembers their first love. What about the time you first fell for sport?

Mine took me longer than what's common. My deep-seated passion for sports started at 28(years after I graduated from college) and Running did it for me.

I took up running just to keep myself fit. Gradually my colleagues motivated me, and now I’m at a stage where I don’t have to run, but I want to run.

Driven by a passion for the game, it appears to be the secret sauce helping me reach and exceed my goals at most life feats. The love for the sport is no second-hand emotion.

This upcoming sportive event will be for people over 40 years old, there will be more than twenty disciplines (many of them were Elite runners), in my case, it will be a Half Marathon. And as it stands, I simply can't think of what's more thrilling!

It took traveling around the world, all thanks to sports, to realize that there is a bigger problem with our ecosystem than we think! The lack of tree preservations and parks is something to raise concerns about. Having visited sixteen countries on 3 different continents, the problem is indeed no jokes.

Today at nearly 40 years old, I am finally taking that leap, that step to do something worthwhile, I hope you'll join me.
