Hero Russell Hill's Medical Funds

Donation protected
Russell Hill is being called a hero, after rescuing a 13 year-old boy from being attacked by 2 pittbulls, on the afternoon of Sunday November 2nd, 2014.  While working at his business, Russell Hill heard cries coming from outside. When he ran outside, he witnessed a young boy, viciously being attacked by two pittbulls. One dog pulling on each leg of the child.  Without a second thought, Russell Hill immediately pulled  the boy away from the vicious pittbulls,  and instantly the dogs turned on him and started to attack him. Russell was defenseless  and suffered tremendous injuries from both dogs attacking him. Russell Hill and the young boy were  transported to seperate hospitals. The young boy was sent home 1 day later with bites to his lower leg. Due to the severity of the attack, Russell Hill is currently at Methodist IU undergoing numerous surgeries and is facing at a long recovery with physical therapy. Mr. Hill was self-employed and without health insurance. He is accumalating medical expenses daily.  Due to his current circumstances, and lack of health insurance the Hill family is seeking financial assistance to help cover the cost of treatment. Any donation is appreciated.

Both WTHR Channel 13 and FOX 59 have reported on Mr. Hill's bravery.
