Home and cars lost in Huricane

Donation protected
Last night, in the middle of the night, my sister Holly and her husband Phil woke up to their home being overcome by water due to hurricane Harvey. They live in Dickenson, TX and on a bayou and I am across the country in Minnesota. While the bayou is typically a hundred yards from their home, the bayou went over its banks and started pouring into their home through walls and bubbling up through the tile flooring.   The picture I shared is the last picture they were able to take before moving down the road. Since then, the water has risen drastically.  They immediately started stacking furniture trying to save what they could when they realized they needed to leave. They put their dogs in their cars, put cat food and water up high for their cats praying they would be okay. They made it only as far as a neighbors' home (a stranger prior to today) who invited them into their home. They stayed in their attic until that home also took on water and they were forced to call for emergency rescue. Their entire city is underwater and according to the weather channel I've been watching non-stop since this morning, it will only get worse.  Last I heard they have been rescued and are at a shelter, trying to get to my mom's home, which, for now, is safe.

They do have insurance which will hopefully cover the loss of their home and cars but as we all know it won't cover everything or their immediate needs.  When Phil looked into the windows just before getting rescued, their furniture was floating, water continued to pour into their home, debris everywhere and their poor cats stranded on top of the kitchen cabinets. They have no clothing, toiletries, basic necessities are all in the home so they could get out. Your money will help with those items. I have set Holly up as beneficiary so she can withdraw from this account as needed for those items. They may look to move back to Minnesota and donations will also help cover moving expenses not only for them but my mom as well. I am asking anyone who can help to please do so. If you can't please send a prayer and good energy their way.   On behalf of my entire family, thank you!
