Funeral Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Sammy, and I’m reaching out to ask for help during a difficult time for my family. My father, Barry Carlstrom, recently passed away unexpectedly at the age of 66, leaving a huge hole in my heart. He was more than just a father—he was a man with a big sense of humor, a lifelong sports fan, and someone who lived life to the fullest and stuck to his values until the end.

Barry was a man who could light up a room with his laughter. He had an incredible love for sports, especially hockey, and was fortunate enough to have skated and played with several Chicago Blackhawks players including Chris Chelios, and Brett & Bobby Hull. His passion for life, his humor, and his love for family and friends touched everyone he met. Now that he’s gone, we want to give him the tribute he deserves, but unfortunately, we are facing unexpected funeral costs.

We are hoping to raise $5,000 to cover the funeral and memorial expenses for my dad. This will allow us to honor his memory and celebrate his life with dignity. Any donation, no matter the size, would help us give him the farewell he deserves.

By donating, you’re not only helping us cover the costs of the funeral, but you’re also ensuring that we don’t get haunted by Barry for leaving him with a cheap send-off. We’d rather not have him dropping pennies from the sky at us for the next decade. Seriously though, your support means the world to me during this time.
