We are heartbroken to have lost our dear friend Coltan far too soon. He was a brilliant light whose warmth, humor and generous spirit brightened the lives of all who knew him.

Coltan was a true Renaissance man - endlessly curious, intelligent and entrepreneurial. He had a deep fascination with cars and all things mechanical. But more than that, he was passionate about helping others and giving back to his community. As a involved member of the Masonic brotherhood, he embodied the fraternal values of friendship, morality and charity. Deeply involved in dance music and culture his energy, warmth and charity brought everyone closer because of him.

While his unrelenting loyalty and willingness to lend a hand sometimes led others to take advantage of his kindness, those close to him understood that his huge heart simply wanted to lift others up. His goofy sense of humor and witty personality could light up any room.

Taken from us too soon by the tragic circumstance, Coltan leaves behind a void that can never be filled. His loss is devastating to his loving family as well as to the wide community of friends who were blessed to know him. As we mourn this unbearable loss, we hope to honor his memory by surrounding his family with the same compassion Coltan showed the world. Our community is raising funds to ease the financial burdens left in his wake so his family can grieve this profound loss with peace of mind.

Coltan made the world a better place through his humor, intellect and generosity of spirit. While our hearts are shattered by his passing, may we celebrate the extraordinary life he lived and keep his memory alive by embodying the values he stood for.
