Honoring Josefina Mojar Perez's Memory
Donation protected
On November 22, 2024, at 1:05 am, our beloved grandmother, Josefina Mojar Perez, passed peacefully in her sleep. My Nanay fought hard for five long years with Stage 4 metastatic ovarian cancer. For the past three years, when I graduated from army nursing school and returned home to be in the reserves, I placed my nursing career on hold to dedicate my time to caring for her and my grandfather full-time. I loved her every day of those three years, and she was the light of every life she touched. Towards the end of her life, my brother, mother, aunts, cousins, and I worked tirelessly to keep her comfortable as she was passing away. We sang and danced for her to make her life as joyful as she made ours, and we are happy to say she passed with all her loved ones surrounding her.
During this difficult time, we are working to honor her memory and give her a dignified farewell. If you are willing and able, my family would greatly appreciate any support. Whether it be thoughtful prayers or a contribution to her celebration of life, no amount of kindness is too small during this time, and anything would mean the world to my family.
Thank you warmly for all the love & support.
