Honoring Robert Marquez: Help with Wake Expenses

His wake will take place:

Robert was born in San Francisco, CA. He moved to Pacifica, CA for a few years during his childhood. As a teenager he moved to Chicago, IL for a brief amount of time. He eventually made his way back to San Francisco’s Mission District. After settling back in for a few years, he met his wife Alicia at 19 years old on 21st and Bryant. Together they have rooted and settled their life and family in San Francisco.

Robert was a meek and humble man with a big sense of humor. He liked to joke around and make sure his family and children were always laughing and smiling. He was a lover of music and the arts. Naturally he was attracted to Chicano and Native American culture. Some of Robert’s favorite music genres were oldies, jazz, 60s rock, salsa and 80s electronic. He had a big appetite, some of his favorite foods were Italian and Mexican. His favorite Bakery was Dianda’s. He was an Original Joes and Pete’s BBQ frequent. Robert also loved cooking breakfast and pasta dinners for his family.

Son to Dayana Espinoza and Robert Marquez Senior. Husband to Alicia. Father to Vanessa, Robert the 3rd, Samuel and Francesca Marquez. Grandfather to Rafael Marquez. Robert also had a big family on his mothers side that reside in Sacramento, CA since 1976, previously in San Francisco.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we must now physically part with our beloved father. May his spirit be at eternal peace and may creator love, hold and protect him. We will be in kinship with him by spirit and soul eternally.
