Honoring Servando Monreal's Legacy
Spende geschützt
Servando M. Monreal, age 59, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 12, 2024, in Stockton, Ca, surrounded by his wife and family at his home.
His battle against stage 4 cancer over the past year took an enormous toll on his health and livelihood. He remained a faithful servant to God and his faith throughout surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, frequent hospitalizations, and his very obvious growing tumor.
Despite all the complications he faced, Servando rarely complained.
On the contrast, he leaned more deeply into his faith and family to help him endure such a strenuous and arduous journey, even getting baptised in Jesus name on August 7, 2024.
Born on April 12, 1965, in Santa Ana,Sonora, Mexico. He was the beloved son of Ramon and Herminia Monreal.
Servando was a dedicated and highly talented cement mason and concrete finisher who spent many years contributing to his community and leaving his mark on various projects and leaving a lasting impact on countless individuals he encountered. His passion for his detailed craftsmanship was evident in everything he did,his own home, a true testament of his unique style and superb skills.
He is survived by his loving family, including his spouse Deyanira (Yanny), children Carlos,Servando,Ricardo and Deyanira, grandchildren: Evangelina, Ailani, Graciela, Servando Jr., Carlos, Izael, Julian, Mateo and Gabriella. He was preceded in death by both his parents and his sister Hermelinda and survived by his sister Luly and brother Ramon.
Servando was a man of many interests; he enjoyed staying busy and working with his hands, and spending quality time with his family. His warm spirit and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Cherokee Memorial Park & Funeral Home, followed by a service from 5:30-7:30 pm.
