Honoring Sheldon Proctor, Sr. by donating to his son, Jay

Like so many of you, our family continues to feel heartbroken at the loss of our beloved son, brother, father, nephew, cousin, uncle and friend Sheldon N. Proctor, Sr. whose warm nature and lively spirit touched so many people.

Anybody who knew Sheldon aka “Shine” or “Squirrel” has at least two stories (not just one lol) of how he was always a good time and made them laugh/smile. That has certainly been true for our family as he didn’t let the wheelchair stop him from being an involved Father, track buddy and dancing partner to many others.

You all know how loyal he was. How he cherished, above all else, time with family and friends. You all know that despite being paralyzed he remained true to his motorcycle crew and continued the car enthusiasm of the Proctor men.

Now it's our turn to do the lifting to honor Sheldon and help his only son, Sheldon Jr. (affectionately known as Jay), like we know he would have done for ours.

In order to do this, we have set up this fund to raise money in memory of Sheldon Proctor. All funds will go directly to Jay to help him as he navigates these difficult times and embarks down a new path nobody predicted without his Dad as a support.

We've set a modest goal but we know we can crush it for Sheldon and hopefully give Jay a little less to worry about.
