Hope Against Odds: Empower 24 Girls to Achieve Their Dreams
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Shaalla, and I am one of 24 determined young women preparing for the TOEFL exam at an English Educational Center in Kabul, Afghanistan. When we began, we were 40, but societal, familial, and governmental barriers have left only us—a group of dreamers fighting for our future under the oppressive rule of the Taliban.
We’ve faced unimaginable challenges: schools shut down, university doors closed, and opportunities denied simply because we are girls. Yet, we refuse to give up. Each of us has a dream, and mine is to one day speak at the United Nations, sharing our story of resilience and transformation.
Your support can break the cycle of limitation. The funds raised will be paid directly to a TOEFL exam center, allowing us to register and take the exam. Funding our TOEFL exams will unlock scholarships and higher education, enabling us to inspire change for millions of other Afghan girls. Help us prove that Afghanistan can remain a land of hope and endless possibilities.
I sincerely apologize for being unable to share my photo or those of my classmates due to security concerns. Thank you for understanding and supporting us.
