Katie and her husband Robby have poured their hearts into caring for animals, especially their soul dog, Harlee. Over the past 6 years, Harlee has been a companion through countless up's & down's, has been a source of love and happiness for them both, & has been by Katie's side ever since she's been out on her own. Recently, Harlee received a devastating diagnosis of Large Cell Lymphoma, which has since been their sole focus despite monumental upcoming life events that were right around the corner. With the right treatment and intensive care, Harlee has the potential to continue living a happy and active life for the foreseeable future.
Just a few days prior to their wedding, Katie and Robby received the devastating news & faced the unexpected challenge of Harlee’s diagnosis. Katie, who has dedicated her life to saving the lives of neglected, overlooked & at risk dogs on Long Island, now needs our support. Her & her husband have spared dogs from the euthanasian list, fostered multiple litters of mother's & their puppies, provided food, toys, blankets, treats & supplies to shelters in the community, facilitated renovations at nearby safe havens, organized donation drives & fundraisers to support local rescues, and given so much time volunteering within the animal community.
We are now asking for your help to give Harlee the best chance at a longer, healthier life with the care she needs. Your donation will go toward her treatments and help Katie and Robby through this emotional and financial challenge.
