Help my family evacuate Gaza

Hello, my name is Rasha. My sister Nada, her son, and I were able to evacuate to Egypt early in the war and now we are fighting to evacuate the remaining 21 members of my family (13 adults and 8 children) from Gaza.

My family has been displaced over 4 times, travelling miles to find safety only to be bombed and terrorised everywhere they go. They're currently staying near Rafah where the situation is getting worse every day with daily bombings, and attacks. There have been problems with the internet in this region so the lack of consistent internet access has made staying in contact with them very difficult.

Pressing family issues

My brother Shadi (40) was recently physically tortured and assaulted by IOF soldiers in front of his children after they broke into their tent on Khan Younis beach. The soldiers also smashed his phone and stole his money.

My brother Basel (32) is currently missing. We don't know whether he's injured, in Israeli detention, or dead. He has a wife and two very young children.

My sister in law Hanna is due to give birth very soon. She requires a caesarean section, and has been suffering with illness throughout her pregnancy. With many hospitals bombed, we worry what will happen when she goes into labor.

The 21 family members we are trying to evacuate:

1. My grandmother Azza (75) who is and in need of medical care for due to injuries and health conditions.

2. My mother Afaf (65) who is also in need of medical care for injuries and chronic health conditions.

3-8. My brother Shadi (40), his wife Fifi (30), and their four children Nada, Nagham, Ahmed and Kareem (ages 2-9)

9-12. My brother Rami (35), his pregnant wife Hana (27), and their two children Jana and Amir (ages 3-4).

13-16 My brother Basel (32), his wife Susu (31), and their two children Salma and Yazan (age 2-4).

17-18 My brother Mohammed (35) and his pregnant wife Angham (21)

19-21 My brothers Alaa (24) and Amir (21), and my sister Inas (28).

The family’s plans and how we hope to use the funds raised

My grandmother, my Mother, and Basel's family will stay in Egypt with me once they cross the border.

Shadi's family plan to continue on to Sweden

Rami's family have planned to travel to Germany

Mohammed, his wife Angham, Alaa, Amir, and Inas plan to go to Belgium.

How we will be using the funds:

As the costs of departure (crossing the border) were last listed as $5,000 for each person over 18 years old and $2,500 for each person under 18 years old my family’s my family's evacuation fees would cost 89,000 euro (65,000 for 13 adults, 24,000 for 8 children)

Medical care, supplies, and food while the family waits for a border to open

Transportation fees and departure permits to the Egyptian border

Housing and food requirements during the period of temporary residence in Egypt, including house rents, furniture, living costs

$2,500+ which will be needed to cover medical costs for when my sisters Hana and Angham give birth.

Gofundme processing fee ($2.9% + $0.30) for each donation

At the moment, the campaign goal doesn't include the travel costs for the members of my family who plan to go on to Europe once evacuated, so any remaining money not used for the above expenses will go towards their flights and relocation.
