Hundreds of Animals Killed in Tragic Barn Fire
Donation protected
Hello from the Barbour Family, we are fundraising due to a tragic event that occurred early Sunday morning. On Sunday morning, around 3am, we were awakened by a gentleman loudly banging on our front door shouting, "your building is on fire!" Once we stepped outside, we were in great shock to see our barn FULLY engulfed in flames, which held about 500 chickens & ducks, 3 pigs & 5 dogs. Shortly after, emergency services arrived & extinguished the fire.
We are at extreme heart break to announce that we have lost everything. Jazz, a very loving pure bread Great Pyrenees who was without a doubt born to dance. Cyrus, an ambitious & intelligent pure bread German Shepard who loved exploring the woods. Bree, an incredibly sassy pure bread German Shepard who enjoyed playing with kids. Two four-month-old German Shepard & Great Pyrenees mixed puppies Queeny & Grizzly, who were growing into becoming compassionate head strong dogs. 3 black pigs (Maddie, Isla & Ace) who were very independent roaming animals who kept our farm balanced. Lastly, about 500 chickens & ducks who all carried their own unique personalities. All that is left are ashes & broken pieces of metal. Amongst the ashes was a page out of my husband's bible which read Jeremiah 33:3, this has so far has been the only thing that has given our family any hope.
Any help is appreciated beyond measure. We plan to rebuild and grow a new!
