Ignore The Impossible
Since running 52 Marathons in 52 Weekends, my goal has been to inspire others to Ignore The Impossible. Coming from a low-income background, having a father who was crippled in a hunting accident and a mother who has dealt with hardships from rheumatic fever as a child and dealing with a liver disorder called Gilbert's Syndrome which impedes recovery from strenuous physical activity, I could have easily decided I couldn't succeed. However, I used what I learned growing up to never stop striving.
The current political climate has forced me to do even more. The sport of running has shown me how all religions, races, and genders are equal inside. I have used the platform I have created over the past decade to speak out against social injustices and strived to help make the world a better place for all. Doing so has caused certain ostracization from previous partners, cancelation of agreements and contracts, and massive losses of income.
The purpose of this GoFundMe is to allow the many who have asked how they could help assist me in continuing to spread the word about how good physical health is paramount to the world’s future. As I reach out to children who are learning what they can do in this world to adults who are realizing it is never too late to be what they want, these funds will allow me to continue to flourish and inspire others to chase their dreams, regardless of their background or circumstances.
