In An Emergency Situation & Asking For Help

Hi Everyone,

As you know I am never the type to ask for help, and am reluctant to write this however I am in serious need.

Since moving to NYC, it has been a trying time where God has developed me and has been pruning me, and I’d like to believe for good reason or for future purpose of which I can’t figure out- but since moving here I have been part of a mass lay off where I’ve been laid off twice- all great employment experiences of course, but mention this to express the stress of unfortunate set backs being alone here in the New York City….

Recently there have been a series of break-ins yet nothing was stolen, but horrible attacks on my dog and so since nothing was stolen, they aren’t able to do anything and aren’t taking my concerns seriously though I’ve called numerous times and still no report can be made…and honestly Tyson is everything to me…everything…

I hate to say this and am disheartened to say this, but am actually in fear for my life here and am not sure what to do next…I do not currently have anyone to rely and I know they say that God prunes branches, but also I know the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy…and there hasn’t been much kindness here to sustain me and have never felt my spirit this low ever before…Before I continue writing, I wanted to apologize for the crassness of this message…However, with his most recent injury (which happened today) the vet bills are going to be significant and since I am fearful for my safety, I need to move ASAP…I would ask to stay with family, but as most of you know the environment would be very toxic and they say you can’t heal in the same place that broke you. I do not currently have much to work with as I’ve had to take my dog to the vet numerous times from former break-ins…and so needless to say for the first time ever, I’m asking for your help…

With integrity, I want to pay everyone back for anything that you’re able to offer and would be more than happy to offer resume reviews and/or career advice for anyone in the meantime. (Am dreaming of starting a professional development school to help adolescents, and a resume service company/recruitment services? Still brainstorming, but need to definitely get back to a safe place so that I can get the ball rolling).

Anyways! Unsure at the moment why I felt compelled to share that, again being unusually crass but any help from my friends and/or acquaintances would be greatly appreciated and am open to all the advice, suggestions or any comfort you could offer during this crazy time.

Oh, it says to explain what I will use the funds either for- so my plan is to leave NYC ASAP to an air b n b to Orlando where I felt God’s presence the most. I plan in the meantime to be near a bus line of some sort for easy commute and working my magic to find a professional job while happily and thankfully doing what I need to in the meantime, while of course knowing that God is bigger than my situation.
