In Honour of Melanie Jane Rhodes( Carter)

Hello my name is Freya ( Mel’s daughter) I wasn’t going to set this up as I didn’t want to come across as begging for money but came to the conclusion with some persuasion that I’m going to set one up. As many of you know my mum suffered with many different illnesses throughout her life. The most recent being her GPA condition that sadly caused her quite sudden passing. As many of you know my mum was the life and soul of the party, always laughing , smiling and just being an amusing person to be around with her humour and crazy personality who had us all in hysterics. Sadly GPA causes her to change how she looked, felt and the way she viewed the world. Luckily it never took her spark, her amazing personality and her selflessness towards others away . I have set this page up to help raise money for her funeral and her headstone as she deserves an amazing send off for an even more amazing women who I was fortunate enough to call my mam. I never thought I would be writing or making this so suddenly but sadly she couldn’t fight anymore. My mum was the strongest person I know and she was a massive fighter with such a stubborn streak to her, she was a inspiration to many including me and she would do anything to help anyone in any possible way that she could and I think she deserves to have something special back to celebrate her life. If your able to help in any sort of way in giving her the best send off that we can that would be greatly appreciated. Any remainder I would like to donate to research into my mums condition so more people learn and know about it.Thank you !!
