In Loving Memory of Leslie Mpeshi: Taking Him Home
Donation protected
Dear friends and community,
With profound sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Leslie Mpeshi also known to many as Papa. Leslie was a cherished son, brother, nephew, cousin and husband who would be deeply missed by all who knew him. Leslie was not just a family member but a beacon of light to everyone who knew him. His infectious laughter, boundless generosity, and unwavering support touched the lives of many. Leslie was a vibrant soul who brought joy and warmth to everyone he met. Whether it was through his friendships, his work or his dedication to his family, Leslie left an indelible mark on our hearts. As we come together to honour his memory, we also celebrate the love and light he shared with the world.
Leslie's journey took him far from his homeland, but his heart always belonged to Kenya. He wished to one day return to his roots, to the land that shaped him, nurtured him, and made him the person we all cherished. While Leslie’s time with us was cut tragically short, we are committed to fulfilling his wish to rest eternally in the place he called home.
We are reaching out to you, our friends, family, and the community, to help us get Leslie back to his homeland, Kenya for his final journey. The costs associated with international repatriation, funeral arrangements, and travel for immediate family are significant, and we are seeking your support to meet these financial challenges.
Your support in helping us achieve this and get Leslie home means more than words can express. Together, we can ensure that Leslie’s final wish is honoured and that he rests peacefully in the land he longed for and loved.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, prayers and compassion during this trying time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Leslie's Family
