In Memory of Catherine Ryoba - Assistance for her Children

It is with the deepest sadness that we inform you of the passing of our friend and colleague, Catherine Ryoba, an Acquisition & Assistance Specialist in USAID/Tanzania’s Office of Acquisition and Assistance (OAA). Catherine passed away on the night of June 11, 2024, after a short illness. She is survived by two children, Candy Grace and Craig Patrick.

The USAID/Tanzania OAA team has started this GoFundMe page to help support Catherine's children in this time of need. As Catherine's children are young they will require continued financial and emotional support. The OAA Team is hopeful that the financial support collected here will provide the children the necessary support during these first couple of weeks.

On behalf of the USAID Mission in Tanzania, we express our deepest condolences and sympathy to Catherine's family and all of us who had the privilege of knowing and working with her.

Catherine's calm and friendly demeanor will be sorely missed.
