In Memory of Christopher Whited

We are honored and so proud at the response that we have gotten so far! Chris has definitely touched a lot of lives. We would love to keep accepting donations to be able to purchase a 2nd side scan sonar which we could donate to help an additional rescue team. This would allow us to help even more families! What a great tribute to Chris!

With the recent tragedy and loss of Christopher Whited, we want to thank everyone that helped bring him home to us.  The Coast Guard, Game Wardens, and volunteer search party would not have been able to locate Chris if it weren't for the sonar technology being used in the search.  The use of this technology was able to give our family the closure we needed and give us the opportunity to lay him to rest.  To pay tribute to Chris and help any other families in the future, we would like to raise donations to purchase a side scan sonar for the Rockport Fishing Club.  This club was able to organize a group of 30 boats to look for Chris throughout the night.  This volunteer group does not currently have this equipment and we feel that by purchasing the sonar for them, as a memorial to Chris, it will help other families to bring their loved ones home in the future.
