In Memory of Devon Marsman

Hi, my name is Lisa Fenton and I am hosting this Go Fund Me for the family of Devon Marsman, who was tragically murdered at the age of 16 in February 2022. Devon was missing for 936 days before an arrest was made in his missing person case.

Devon's family never gave up looking for him. His mom and her supporters were relentless in their efforts to solve Devon's case. They knew who was responsible for his disappearance but they could not prove it. Finally, on September 16th, 2024 Halifax Regional Police arrested two individuals for Devon's murder.

Now, the family is faced with the loss of their youngest son and a trial where they will have to hear what happened to him. Devon's mom is the sole provider for the family. In order for her to be able to attend the trial she will have to miss work but she will, because she wants to make sure that the individuals responsible for taking her sons life know that she will never let them live in peace. She will always be there for him even though he is never coming home to her. It is my hope and the hope of those who support her that we will be able to raise enough money to allow her to have a celebration of life for Devon and to allow her to sit in that court room and look them in the eye as they say what they did to her son and why.
