What Happened
Our Aunt, Grandma, and cousin Drake were on their way home to Redmond from Drake’s first COBO basketball tournament in Portland this weekend. As the late afternoon approached, the road conditions quickly deteriorated. Tragically, a vehicle lost control and veered into oncoming traffic and a collision was unavoidable.
With Drake’s 10th birthday just ten days away, this heartbreaking news cuts even deeper. We lost the most caring and happy-go-lucky child you could ever imagine. Drake always kept everyone in the family entertained, from his 96 year old great grandma, to his 7 month old cousin. Drake loved being around others, especially his friends; he seemed to make them everywhere he went. Drake was an avid athlete, competing year round in sports, and spending much of his free time being involved in the community, from watching bmx biking to his local 4-H group, he did it all.
Why You Should Donate
Do to the tremendous toll this is taking on our Aunt and Uncle, we beg you to help in any way you are able to. Dealing with the death of a child is something that no one should ever have to go through. The stress of the medical bills, having to miss work, and coping with the situation at hand is too much to add on top of that.
Even the the smallest of contributions make the biggest impact.
